Fuel

Affectionately known by most as 'the Avon BP,' we're proud to be Hatteras Island's go-to fuel option offering both gas and diesel.

Car Wash

Self wash in one of our three spray-off bays or enjoy the ease of our touchless automatic car wash complete with undercarriage and clear coat finish options. We also offer five commercial vacuums and are one of the only places on Hatteras Island offering free air!

Gift Shop

The gift shop at Askins Creek is chock-full of fun gifts and quality goods, including an extensive collection of Hatteras Island and Outer Banks souvenirs and apparel. Much of our inventory will soon be available to buy online. Stay tuned!

Deli

One of the unsung heroes on Hatteras Island, our deli boasts better food than your average quick stop. In the morning we offer a robust breakfast featuring an array of croissants, biscuits, etc. At lunch we proudly serve Nino's Pizza, our favorite local pizza shop, by the slice. We also offer great burgers, Nathan's hot dogs, fried and grilled chicken sandwiches, BBQ and beyond. Made-to-order options are available most days until 2 or 3 p.m.

Propane

Exchange or purchase propane here at the Avon BP. Need it for the grill? We stock grilling supplies as well!

Water

Whether you need refills or you're just looking to stock up, we offer ample supply of 5-gallon Culligan water jugs for your convenience.

Firewood

Stock up on firewood for your campsite or to enjoy on the beach or in the comfort of your own backyard.

Fishing

Find gear for the casual fisherman at Askins Creek, including leaders, sinkers, hooks and a small inventory of frozen bait fish like squid, shrimp and cut mullet. We can also help you with your NC fishing license.
